SHAPING THE CURVE
SHAPING THE CURVE was composed for John Harle in 1990 and is based strictly on a sequence of four chords. It served as a study for WHERE THE BEE DANCES, a concerto for soprano saxophone and orchestra written in the following year for the same soloist.
