Work Notes The intentions of this edition are threefold: to provide a complete score of Mozart's surviving music (including unpicking the Sanctus and Benedictus which exist only in a short score by a third party); to construct the missing movements from existing material in order to extend Mozart's half-mass into a conventional six-movement mass setting; and to provide an approximation of the original liturgical context.
