  • Macintosh computer equipped with an audio interface compatible with Max/MSP (e.g. Motu 828mkII; Motu 896; Digidesign DIGI002; RME sound-card) to run a patch including quadraphonic hard-disk playback of sound-files.

  • - The Max/MSP patch can include the simulation of the synthesizer and sampler.
    - One MIDI controller keyboard to control each simulation.
    - Midi interface of two ports (e.g. Motu Fastlane)
    Or
    - Yamaha SY99 (or Motif7) synthesizer
    - AKAI S1100 or compatible sampler + MIDI controller keyboard (e.g. Yamaha KX88 or S80)
    - General reverberation (e.g. Lexicon PCM81)

  • - The Max/MSP patch can also include all harmonizers and reverberations.
    Or
    - Harmonizers (e.g. Yamaha SPX2000 or SPX90 or any dual pitch shifting device) - see Appendix II for parameters
    - Infinite reverberation (e.g. Lexicon PCM81 or PCM91) - see Appendix I for parameters
    - General reverberation (e.g. Lexicon PCM81)

  • 8 microphones (2 for harp, 2 for harpsichord, flute, violin, viola, cello)

  • Mixer & quadraphonic diffusion (possibly 4 return monitors)
